Basic Function:
    The Sourcing Supervisor will be responsible for basic activities related to identifying, developing and delivering products from mills. The Sourcing Supervisor will also participate in the development of the company's sourcing strategies and market analysis.
    Principal duties or activities:
    Identify the mills that are producing upholstery and related products.
    Visit the mills to review new product ideas and samples.
    Upon selection of a new product, hands on manage the startup of the program to ensure that the product is produced to specifications and on time.
    Provide information about the mills and the local fabric markets in order to support the company's market analysis.
    Negotiate product pricing and terms with the mills
    Meet with the mills as needed to resolve production, quality or delivery issues.
    Qualifications, education and experience:
    The candidate should possess formal university education ideally in textiles or related fields. A minimum of 3 years experience in fabric design and development, manufacturing and/or sourcing would be preferred.
    The candidate should be proficient in both Mandarin and English, both spoken and written.
    The candidate should be willing and able to travel.
